We have been catering for HACK for 6 years, this year was slightly different......
We love a challenge and rose to the occasion! This year the meals needed to be packaged for the delegates. So our first task was finding sustainable packaging for everything.
January is the month that brings us back to one of our favourite Cambridge venues, the historic Corn Exchange, for our annual collaboration with the amazing HACK Cambridge, an event hosting the largest student-led hackathon by Cambridge University. Attracting hundreds of participants, our task is to create exciting menus, delivered seamlessly whilst the innovation and creativity flows for a full, non-stop 24 hours! Now in its 7th season, it is always a pleasure to be involved and something we look forward to every year.
Here's what we cooked.....
Chargrilled beef patty, brioche, cheddar, homemade burger sauce, baby gem, red onion & gherkin with side of coleslaw
Buttermilk fried ‘chicken’, sriracha vegan mayo, baby gem & guacamole with side of vegan coleslaw

Lamb & sweet potato tagine with almond & mint
Ras al hanout roast cauliflower with pomegranate & parsley
Sumac spiced carrot with seed dukkah & coriander, bulgar tabbouleh and flatbread with yoghurt
Stone baked tomato and mozzarella pizza
Fried chicken mini fillets
Chocolate chip cookies
Smashed avocado, pea & lemon with chilli pumpkin seeds on char grilled sourdough
Granola with strawberry compote, coconut yoghurt & maple syrup
